There is something to be said for this Okami's strength of will, I always find him an inspiring character to draw or write about-it kicks you up the a$$. :3
Profile:
'Wolf of the first day-Dai Okama'
Dai is the 'oldest' of the Okami siblings. Mature and precise, he is indeed the driving force behind his brothers and sisters devotely following their 'father' Shugo sensei's teaching in Bushido.
Dai is a master swordsman, weilding both a katana and wakizashi with graceful ease. Indeed, he has devoted his life to nothing more. Stoic and unwavering to a fault, he carries an air of calm and vigilance along with his responsibiliteis and love for his family.
His abilities are without doubt the best of his bretheren, and when in combat he bosts strength, determination and above all solid belief in his way.
His skill with a sword is perhaps only matched by his ability to make them. His own personal swords, along with those of his brothers' and sisters', and his exhaustive collection, were all hand crafted by himself. As well as this, he also spends his time peacefully practicing many other traditional activities. It is for this reason he is perhaps the closest to Shugo sensei. It could be said they share a bond other than that of simply 'father and son'.
It may be perceived that Dai is flawless, but, it is perhaps of course that at many times this IS his greatest flaw. And it is most definetly the reason for his brother Rounin's contempt. Dai does not generaly show emotion, not because he is hiding it or feels he has no need for it-but because he simply has a natural control over his own. Interestingly, he does however show particular disapointment in Rounin's emotional state, almost singling him out.
His faith in himself and his beleifs and practices, unyeilding and perhaps at times stubborn, are of no doubt what make Dai a concrete block no-one would be without at their side.
However....it is also what leads to a burdening obsession with the dark shadow that is Mond [link]
